Kyrie Laubenthal

Kyrie Laubenthal’s passion for animals has been evident since her early childhood, when she began training her neighbor’s Newfoundland mix, Bebe, and walking other local dogs. After relocating to Erie, PA, in 2011, Kyrie deepened her commitment to animal welfare by volunteering with various local shelters. Her dedication led her to foster kittens and dogs for organizations such as Erie Animal Network, Orphan Angels Cat Sanctuary, ANNA Shelter, and currently the Companion Animal Coalition.

In 2016, Kyrie launched a private pet sitting business, offering a range of services including drop-ins for cats, dogs, and small animals, dog walking, and boarding. Her experience expanded in 2019 when she transitioned to a commercial boarding and daycare business. During this time, Kyrie adopted a six-week-old Great Dane, Onyx. Together, they achieved the Canine Good Citizen certification, and Onyx subsequently became a certified Therapy Dog. Kyrie and Onyx have participated in numerous therapy dog visits, further demonstrating their dedication to animal care. She became a certified Fear Free Professional in both grooming and dog daycare in 2023 and has several years of dog/cat grooming experience.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Kyrie enjoys spending time with her two children and works to foster their love for helping others and caring for pets. Collectively, they also enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, and collecting beach glass/fossils.
